Deutz engines are MSHA certified for 30 hp through 371 hp. These are available in air-cooled, oil-cooled and water-cooled models.

We currently offer the 2011, 2012, 1013 and 1015 series for mining applications.

The design of these Deutz engines means low emissions that meet the rigorous MSHA standards.

Hard Rock Mines

Hard rock mines do not require MSHA certification but do require engines to be current EPA level compliant. Diesel Power Equipment Co. represents Volvo, Lister Petter and Deutz' other engines, improving our horsepower range.
